AI in Action E208: Cihan Aksakal, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Zenjob
Podcast | May 11 2021 | Mark Kelly
Welcome to episode 208 of the AI in Action podcast, the show where we break down the hype and explore the impact that Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are making on our everyday lives.
Powered by Alldus International, our goal is to share with you the insights of technologists and data science enthusiasts to showcase the excellent work that is being done within AI in the United States and Europe.
Today’s guest is Cihan Aksakal, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Zenjob in Berlin. Founded in 2015, Zenjob uses its own software technology that enables companies to connect with students faster and faster. Companies flexibly request staff in an online booking tool and then students are automatically matched with these jobs in a mobile app, in which they then decide who to apply for. Zenjob’s corporate vision is to “individually shape your work life.”
The uniqueness of Zenjob lies in the automation of the entire staffing and job management process. Zenjob now places more than 12,000 jobs with students every month and has grown from a startup to a rapidly growing technological staffing company over the past few years. Their goal is to simplify staffing for companies, job searching for talent and to offer the best possible service on the market with new intelligent functions.
In the episode, Cihan will discuss:
The impact Zenjob are making in the recruitment sector
How they are using new technologies to improve the user experience
The benefits their platform brings to customers
What the future looks like within the industry
